What are your favourite, casual summer dresses?

I’ve had to recycle my favourites, they’re worn out and years old so looking for some inspiration.

I just love the little white dress, always classy and stylish. I personally like how short dresses look on me, and given British weather I veer towards summer dresses with sleeves, I adore a puff sleeve. These are some from my ASOS saved.

I bought a couple of pure cotton jersey dresses from Nomads recently. I came across this company after I succumbed to teens request that I shop ethically (!). I chose two side tie dresses in the excellent sale which are very flattering and seem to be good quality. I had to wash them immediately though as they smelled ‘fusty’ on taking them from the packaging. Some of the stuff is a bit too middle aged for this middle aged lady but there are some gems.

The customer service was excellent incidentally. One of the dresses didn’t arrive and they replaced it very quickly.
