Best At-Home Hair Removal Laser Device

Keep on seeing these wonderous machines on Facebook and feeling the urge to splurge. Are they a gimmick? Anyone own one? Which brand is the best bet?

I am fair skin with light brown hair if it makes a difference.

Recommendations appreciated - thanks!

I’ve got a Smoothskin Gold which I’ve had for a few years and it definitely works. Definitely not gimmicky. It’s just such a relief to not have to shave every day. I still shave occasionally as I have some hair that grows through, but it’s vastly reduced and it’s still a work in progress.

Fair skin with mid brown hair. Spent a fortune on laser in salons which did very little. Then bought a Philips Lumea. Changed my life. Was depressingly hairy, got rid of 90-95%.

Phillips lumea!! I just used it yesterday for a top up and I thought then how brilliant it is. I have about three armpit hairs and virtually nothing left on my legs. Bikini line I only just started and it’s already got rid of about 80% of hairs. Best 250 pound ever spent! I got it on a half price boots sale.

I had a Lumea and it was useless. Took forever to zap my legs. Total waste of time. I was swayed by the glowing reviews on here which circulate regularly. Expensive lesson learned.

This. It's excellent. Quick easy and painless. I'm hair free for the first time with minimum effort and expense.

My lumea has been life changing. On the expensive side but worth it over all.
