Going out shoes

Now that we can start thinking about going out again in the evening, what shoes / sandals do I need to wear with jeans to the pub ? I’ve been living in trainers for the last year, feel I d like something smarter for summer.

I’m a big fan of these, particularly the metallic or sparkly ones for that relaxed slightly glam look.
But the answer to your question will also depend on where you live. In London (my part at least) I need to look like my outfit inc shoes was an afterthought

I love espadrilles wedges, each year M&S bring them out with slight variations in style and colours.

@SummaLuvin they are lovely but a bit dressy for what I had in mind.

I’m looking for something that makes my legs look great in black skinny jeans (don’t care if they are in or out) while not crippling me, and looking smart but in a carefree no hassle way. Not sure these shoes exist!

Love those too @Procrastatron but a bit too day time. They need to somehow be sexy too.
Need to start looking on Pinterest for inspiration, after a year in trainers I’ve forgotten how to dress my feet!

I quite like these sandals from Jigsaw OP. I think they'll make your ankles look good and are quite elongating while being very wearable. And good with skinny jeans.

How dressy do you want?

I want these because I'm a bit obsessed with chunky sandals but these are a bit dressier than my others.

Thanks @vannyy, they are interesting but not really the look I want - a bit too Birkenstock like, which I love for daytime, but I don’t think they would give me the evening look I’m hoping for.
