So I am sitting here with a T Towel on my head after having co-washed my hair in the shower and this is all great but............ swimming has started again and from today onwards I shall be swimming every day at 6pm for one hour.

Can I still do 'Curly Girl' and can anyone give me advice on how to do it with any measure of success bearing in mind I shall not be wearing a swimming hat !

I'm not sure - I swim at the pool sometimes, but I wet my hair before swimming, put in conditioner and then wear a swim cap. I also fresh water swim for which I do nothing.

I imagine the problem will be the chlorine drying it out. You could try co-wash after swimming and then leave-in conditioner and a hair mask one or two times a week depending on how it goes.

I swim 3 times a week and been cg washing for a few years ( curly all my life though). I either wear a swim cap so do little or swim without a cap and then co wash after as normal. I deep conditioner more often. I find pool swimming helps my hair, where as many find it drying. Mine has more bounce and better curl after swimming.
