Big bras on the cheaper side...

Is there anywhere that i wouldn't have to take a small loan out to get some bloody bras?! I'm a 34K, have been using bravissimo and brastop but surely there is somewhere else? Where do you get your big bras from? Thanks!

Ebay and amazon

NonsensicalHair · 12/04/2021 12:06

Yes, you can sometimes find new and second hand bras on ebay for reasonable prices (well, cheaper than Bravissimo anyway). I too get a lot of mine from Bravissimo, though usually in the sales. Also Belle Lingerie seem to have a lot of sales.

M&s? Not sure if super soft range go up to k but they may?
Around £20 mark.

Broadbeanssleeping · 12/04/2021 12:27

Just had a quick look, m&s go up to K, not sure there is lots of choice though.

Starisnotanumber · 12/04/2021 12:35

Asda go up to 34J in some of their ranges not sure if you can return after ordering online but if you can maybe worth a try.
Found them to be as good as M and S.

Keep an eye on simply be and jd williams as they sometimes have good sales on, I got some elomi bras pretty cheap there
Crazy clearance occasionally has some

LovePoppy · 13/04/2021 00:38

I really like curvy Kate.

To me they seem quite cheap in the UK.

They are almost 2/3rds more in Canada £30 vs $90

Having been a 34K the problem with most of the cheaper ranges is that they miss out some of the double cup sizing so a 34K out of somewhere like M&S didn’t touch me, as they may only have been the equivalent of a HH in bravissimo. Plus many ranges that go up to bigger cups don’t do smaller back sizes, and often start at a 36. They also often don’t have the wider straps/side slings on the cups/3 hook backs hat I certainly needed. After decades of experience I’m afraid I could never find bras at anywhere other than bravissimo, brastop and belle lingerie. And don’t get me started on the nightmare that was Molke which loads on here recommend. I had a reduction in the end, but realise this is a radical approach! And I’m still a 32G afterwards. They are in the right place now though!

@Starisnotanumber The quality is shocking! Both of mine broke after 3 months Confused
kittykarate · 13/04/2021 14:09

I've had some decent deals buying new bras on Ebay and Amazon.

Curvy Kate bras you can often find odd sizes for a knock down price. you just have to be patient though.

Starisnotanumber · 13/04/2021 14:21

How long would you expect a 7.00 or so bra from ASDA to last?
3 months is 90+ days if worn every day with a good few washes seems reasonable value.
If just worn occasionally with a few washes not good value

When I said 3 months, I meant I bought both at the same time, wore on/off alongside other bras and still they both broke. If that makes sense? Grin

As pp mentioned, m&s are useless, as they miss out a lower down double cup size so their k cup isn't actually the same size as anyone else's k cup.

I usually stalk BrandAlley for my "cheap" bras, currently on order I have a panache for £20 and a gossard for £9! You do have to be patient for delivery, but worth it for the savings.

UnsureOfNC · 13/04/2021 15:32

Brilliant! Will have a look through some of the suggested above. It's really winding me up, i'm only 22 and i feel as though i'm burdoned with these bangers for the rest of my lifeGrin!

Agree if it's only a couple of dozen wears buying cheap doesn't seem good value.
It was dd I used to buy for when she was at home and she seemed OK with them maybe quality gone down in last few years.
Since she left home no need for them now😁

CookiesNookie · 13/04/2021 19:41

I only ever bought from Bravissimo ones and that was 10 years ago when I realised that I needed a FF cup. Ever since I’ve been going on ebay and search either for 34FF or whatever bra you love from bravissimo.
I buy twice a year 6 bras for every day use so yes I have a collection but for £13 sometimes a bra it’s worth it.

Debenhams have some, not in the sale but twin packs for the price of a single elsewhere.
