Deep, Old (Not Sore) Ingrown Hairs

Bit of a gross one but I have 2 really deep ingrown hairs on my bikini line that have now been there for a few years. They aren’t sore or ‘active’ but you can see the darkness under the skin. How do I get them out? I can’t reach an end or try and coax them out with a warm flannel or whatever other bollocks is advised on the internet...so what can I do?!

Any help greatly appreciated!

Exfoliate I reckon.

UhtredRagnarson · 12/04/2021 08:03

I’d be poking a hole with my tweezers

FreeButtonBee · 12/04/2021 08:05

Get some exfoliating acid on them. Tendskin was what I used to use but any facial acid should also do the trick

Get over to sporners corner and post pictures of before and after the squeeze but preferably get someone to film it Grin

PollyThePony · 12/04/2021 08:07

Are you sure they are ingrown hairs or could they be scars from ingrown hairs?

ABitOfAShitShow · 12/04/2021 10:28

@CommanderBurnham and @FreeButtonBee I was thinking that but I just feel like it needs something more dramatic. Perhaps I’m wrong.

@AprilFoolaround They can’t be squeezed.

@PollyThePony They definitely have hair in there. But it’s really deep.

@UhtredRagnarson That’s what I’m thinking but they’re honesty nowhere near the surface.

What a palaver. Having surgery today but I’ll report back when I can have a go at them. Grin

If you do it really consistently every other day for 2-3 weeks I think it would work. Obviously take a break if the skin starts to get inflamed or if it’s tolerating it well then up to every day or even twice a day.

Magnesium sulphate and don't forget the photos!
