I'm mid 30s, proper apple shape with all my weight on my stomach. I wanted an update from skinny jeans but bootcut jeans look frumpy on me and mom jeans are so unflattering on me.

Just bought these and I'm impressed- I rolled them up to hit the ankle with some trainers, but they go into ankle boots without huge bunching. £24 seems reasonable to me.

Thought I'd share in case it was helpful.

I only ever wear Next jeans.

I normally stick with markses. I'm short of leg and 5'4, so having seen one of the reviews, I'll give them a swerve.

What’s the sizing like? Could do with a new pair of jeans but I’m in between sizes.

I have these too - they’re really flattering. Sizewise, I’d say they are similar to M&S sizing.

@MattHancocksSexDungeon I think they are pretty true to size. I'm in a 12 and they aren't skin tight sausage factory. I get a long length as I find next can be quite short.

Are they quite generous around the waist then? Being apple shaped I find that to get jeans to fit my waist they end up hanging off my bum!

@hellcatspangle I have a smaller (flat) bum compared to my waist but I don't think they look like they are hanging off my bum- I know what you mean though!

Yes me too! I have the typical apple shape, round stomach, flat bum and slim thighs (sounds appealing !). Jeans look awful on me, but I just don't know what else to dress myself in

I'm 5ft 1, would the petite fit me or be too long? They are out of stock unfortunately!

Jeans with longer top that is mid hip length and skims over my tummy.

I find Next jeans really well-cut for my apply shape - but they GROW

@Twilightstarbright @RandomMess , I'd love to wear dresses/skirts in the winter but never know what shoes to wear with them , honestly I really am a disaster! I need one of those shopping assistant people

I wear Stan Smiths or ankle boots. Birkenstocks in the summer.

Birkenstock's as much as possible.

Knee high boots with dresses in winter, or office shoes with tights.

Other boots with jeans or Birkenstock's.

I have very very difficult feet so it's more what fits tbh.

Thanks. I should probably buy some jeans as I emerge blinking into the sunlight after a year in “loungewear”. Hate skinny jeans, not even flattering to skinny people.

I was put off next jeans as the last two pair I brought stretch out after one wash on the waist and keep sliding down.

I am an apple shape but wouldn't say I have a flat arse or slim legs! Perhaps I am another shape but with a large stomach? Anyway, glad you find some jeans you like. I am ready to crow from the rooftops (not literally, scared of heights!) as I bought some 'girlfriend' jeans from Monsoon in size 20. THEY FIT!. The only thing I was not sure of was the leg hems are like raw - so not obvious rips and tears but still.. They do look nice. Happy Happy Happy!

I'm not a true apple but I'm an hour glass with a stomach from carrying 3 huge babies, what's the fit like around the back? If I wear jeans I always have a gaping back.
