Advice on ordering from Salt Water pls

Hi, I’ve decided to take the plunge and order some Salt Water sandals in the new Claret colour, but am a bit confused re sizing. I did the size calculator on the site and it said I am an Adult 8, which is a UK 7. I am usually a UK8 and have sometimes had to buy an 8.5 or 9 in trainers or boots so I can’t imagine fitting a 7 sandal. Does anybody know if these sandals come up large? Or do they start tight and stretch? There are no free returns on their site so I want to get it right first time! As an aside, does anybody else have Claret Salt Waters? I’m hoping the colour is a nice rich burgundy rather than being too purple or brown... I’m also struggling o choose between the Originals and the Classics, so any opinions on either styles would be appreciated!

I'm size 6 and have UK6 in Saltwaters.

I get my actual size - but they suggest sizing up so I wouldn’t get smaller if I were you.

I love the classic style, but they’re all fab and v comfy.

I have both styles, classics in navy and originals in red and fuchsia, and think both look good. I think the classics are slightly better fit on me because I have quite narrow feet and they can be adjusted more. When I bought my red ones I was tempted by the claret, but I've wanted some red ones for ages and knew that if I got the claret I'd still keep lusting after the red.Grin

I have three pairs and much prefer the look of the originals. I have UK 7.5 feet and bought my first Saltwaters in SW 8. They are comfy but my toes touch the stitching. I bought my next pairs in a SW 9 and they look better.

I always buy uk7 shoes, mainly because I have wide feet, and bought uk 7 saltwater sandals but they were too long so I sent them back.

I've ordered two pairs - one pair in Candy Red which are a bright patent red and are absolutely beautiful and were on offer at under £30! The other pair are black and silver and equally gorgeous and also a bargain at £35! Can't wait for them to get to me (and for the weather to let me wear them). I will probably still end up getting the Claret too but couldn't resist these ones 😁.
