Am I cool? Or neutral

I've tried the eyes/ white paper thing and not sure. I'm trying to drag my 45 year old face back to life. It's sagging and meh. I thought my tone is a good place to start as I need new clothes too.

Soft summer is a neutral leaning cool toned season. The pink lipstick you have on would fit into the soft summer palette. It definitely is preferable to the peach toned one. You are definitely not warm!

Neither of those lipsticks work- the beige/peach hasn't got the saturation you need and the pink pulls purple because the blue is unnatural to your colouring.

I think you are a true autumn.

The vein thing is a complete red herring. Doesn’t work at all.

This is hilarious now as the quiz has me at cool winter. Too funny!!

Amazed that anyone has veins that are not blue. They carry unoxygenated blood so yes they are all blue.

Mine are green!! Because I have olive skin, which is yellowish. And I'm cool toned. As I believe most Olive skin people are!

My veins are green blue and purple and I don't know where the green comes from because I have pale Irish skin! My eyes are also grey, blue, green and gold. I've never worked this out. One thing I know is that yellow based makeup is the worst on me.

@Doughnut100 your eyes sound like mine tbh and your wrist could BE mine so let me know if you ever find out. I've been summer and winter on a couple of tests now so I'm giving up. However o do think the peachy orange pj top I had on earlier did zero for me whereas I (think?) know that Cobalt blue suits me. Who knows?

@Doughnut100- your veins are predominantly blue! And combined with yellow make-up being wrong you are most likely cool!

@LaCerbiatta Olive skin is a tricky one but it is usually warm or neutral. It is skin that has a yellow/green overtone but it can have a blue undertone in some cases.

@Polkadotpjs I will let you know if I ever work it out definitively but maybe @FreekStar is right and I am cool. I doubt I am warm if anything else I am neutral.

To be honest the only reason I really wanted to know was that I was trying to order foundation shades in lockdown without being able to try it. Maybe you should go to a fancy makeup counter and make sure it's one where they label their foundation undertones as cool/warm/neutral. Ask for some samples to take home and then maybe you'll be able to work out what you are from which foundation shade works? X

Not sure I agree with this! Aren't most Asian people (India, Parkistan) cool? In the sense that they suit cool palettes? The yellow undertones of the olive skin don't mean warm undertones and that they suit warm colours. Don't ask me the science behind it though 😀

I'm strongly cool, not close to neutral, and I have very typical olive skin, the type that goes greenish at the end of winter but tans really quickly. I look dreadful in oranges etc

My dd for example is either neutral or warm. Her skin is much more golden than mine, although paler never has my greenish tone.

The veins thing is rubbish. I have veins so green they look like gangrene, they are almost fluorescent green.

And I’m a summer so cool colouring.

I have olive skin too, it’s almost yellow. But I’m still a cool
