Skincare routine for 40 year old

I turn 40 later this year and thought it time to review my skincare regime.

I don't have a fixed regime at the moment but tend to use a hot cloth cleanser am and pm and then some m&s formula moisturiser and eye cream or if my skin is a bit dry I'll use good old Astral.

My skin is pretty normal; occasionally dry and I rarely get spots but skin is definitely losing some elasticity!

I also only use cruelty free. Would appreciate any suggestions 😊

I am a fan of collagen supplements for the elasticity.
Other than that I might put a couple of bulldog clips behind my ears...

Late 30's here can I jump on thread please op? Was about to post a similar thread asking for advice for late 30's and into the 40's.
Currently do nothing in the morning except splash my face with water and apply astral. In the evening I remove my make up with cleansing butter and a warm facecloth, apply the inkey hyaluronic acid, then the inkey vitamin c serum followed by boots caffeine eye cream and then astral again . I massage my face and neck with trilogy rose hip oil a few evenings a week and some evenings use boots vitamin c brightening sleep mask.

Bought a bottle of bakuchiol serum today too but haven't used it yet . Also wear heliocare factor 50 gel in the summer and have been googling about collegen supplements lately but haven't a clue
