Just thought I'd post what excellent service and product I've had from this company

I am in constant despair with foundation, even more so during pandemic when you can't try anything

So I did the online quiz and ordered the foundation & concealer with free foundation brush for £56

It came with instructions of how best to apply and within a few days a personal email asking how I was finding it.

The concealer is by far the best I've ever tried, it's a perfect match, doesn't crease on my 45 year old eye bags either.
The foundation gave lovely coverage, and felt lovely on my skin but I felt slightly too yellow, but only just

When I told them this they asked me a couple more questions and said they were sending me another colour free of charge.

So now I have 2 bottles of foundation, the second one a near perfect match but I may mix them too.

They have since asked how I'm finding the new colour

Just wanted to share as they have a heavy social media campaign and at least I'm not paid to big them up

Agree I did the quiz and bought it on a whim actually mainly because you could get a refund if it didn’t match. I was shocked at how good the match was. Love it.

Oooh, I've had my eye on this. I've done the quiz but my worry is when I put in the shade I normally use then what if I'm wearing totally the wrong shade!?

I didn't input my normal brand so left that out, maybe try that and take the chance

I know I'm used to the cheap stuff but seems expensive.

I'm tempted but it's a lot if you can't sample it! What's the coverage / longevity like? I like something medium coverage but long wearing on my combination skin?

Yep, the concealer is brilliant.

I ordered it and I think the shade is wrong. I will contact them see what they suggest. I like the product itself but i think I don't know my own skin tone and assume I'm just a red faced tomato, and it would appear I am not.

@GooodMythicalMorning I normally wear L'Oréal or max factor so it's more expensive for me, but the amount I keep spending on different brands and shades is actually more

I think for £36 with the excellent customer service it's been worth it

@LimpLettice the coverage for me is perfect, not too heavy, not cakey at all, can build up. When I remove my make up it's lasted really well

@Dazedandconfused10 I would definitely contact them and they'll match you another shade and ship for free

@MozzchopsThirty I reached out to them, they're sending a new shade to try so fingers crossed that one matches!

Received my new shade today, haven't tried it but it looks better on my wrist. Excellent customer service!

I’m also a big fan of Il Makiage foundation. Great coverage but not too heavy for my wrinkly 50-something skin. In fact my 27- year old daughter loved mine so I bought her the same at Christmas. I ordered a lipstick which was not the shade I expected, so I gave that feedback and was sent a £15 voucher which I used to buy more foundation. Gave the lipstick to my sister.

Yes I agree. They're fantastic. Concealer is outstanding! I absolutely swear by it.

Everyone I know has said it doesn’t work on olive, Indian or black skin with pink tones.
