Moles moles and more moles!

I have facial moles and they are spreading, growing and making me miserable! They are benign, but unsightly I've tried Internet solutions, I've been to my doctor because I was really really down about how unsightly they are (she basically told me to get a grip) as I'm getting older, they are getting worse. My face is covered in flesh coloured bumps. What can I do?

Could it be sebaceous hyperplasia and not moles?

@FromEden thank you for that link. That could well be my problem. Although not as bad as some of the images but I am getting more. The doctor even said my face was a mole farm! I think dermatologist is the first step. Thanks again.
