I want a long floral maxi dress. Something that a girl in a Flake ad would wear

But sadly I can't find it.

You know what I mean, the sort of dress that demands a floppy hat and a wildflower meadow. A dress with fabric that swooshes.
A dress that screams HELLO THE 70's!

Anyone come across anything this glorious?
A puff sleeve would be a definite advantage.

So many glorious suggestions from places I would never have looked, I've got at least £3000 of lovely frocks in my virtual shopping basket in the sky.

I love a lot of these links, thank you.
I'll let you know what I end up buying

Just seen a photo of Trudie Styler wearing the lovely 'rainbow coloured' frock mentioned upthread. Not really a fan but she looked lovely in it.

MayIDestroyYou · 16/04/2021 12:20

Which frock?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 16/04/2021 13:44

The Zimmermann one mentioned by @BigBirdsbird

Thanks!

Not that it matters, as I mistook this for another thread, where I'd mentioned a frock I'd bought. I absolutely hate the thought of some celebrity being photographed in any innocent purchase of mine.

Twenty five or thirty years ago a shop assistant in Browns tried to coax me into trying something on by listing the famous people who had already bought the garment. That didn't end well.

Browns - there's a blast from the past! Does it still exist?

www.brownsfashion.com/uk/

Bought my first Jil Sander suit there, in a previous century. It used to be so much fun. Even the website used to be fun. Now it's Euro-bling Central and it's hard to find anything nice to wear there. (The website, I mean. I never go into shops in London these days - even when there was no pandemic.)
