Can anyone help with Birkenstock Arizona sizing please? Especially for smaller feet

My feet vary in size, unhelpfully, and tend to puff when I get warm. I usually buy a 4.5 but can also need a 4 or a 5 depending on the shoe.

I bought a 4.5 in the Arizonas but they were miles too big. I can't find much stock online in a 3.5 or a 4... what do you think I should go for?

They are tricky. I am a 5/38 and had to size down to a 37 (4-4.5 in Birkenstock?). My sister also found the online measurement guide totally unhelpful. She is a 6/39 and had to size down to a 5/38. So I would say size down one whole European size. They are supposed to have a small gap round the whole foot and worn with the straps quite loose, so I wouldn’t size down too much. I'm a 5.5 and wear a 5 and a 5 is good in Birkenstock for me. I think a 37 should be ok for you?

I'm usually a 6 but I get a 5 in Birks.

Were you getting the narrow or regular fit?

We’re they too wide, too long or both?

One whole size down regular fit works for me.
Narrow fit seem to be smaller all round so maybe your regular size would fit in them?

I usually wear a 38 as I have a broad foot. I have two pairs of Arizona both size 36.

I am 38 and have a 38 in narrow. Length is fine but it is still quite wide.

I’m a standard 39. Interestingly I have a soft footbed pair of Arizona’s in a 39 which are perfect, but I had to have a 38 in the standard footbed

It is the 37 narrow size which is too big. It’s baffling because I do have wide feet!

I can’t decide whether to go for the 36 or try the half size. Thankfully their own site has everything, Amazon/ASOS etc don’t.

I am normally a 36. I sized down one size and got the narrow width. I have both the normal and the soft footbed, the fit for both is the same for me.

Not helping but I literally just measured my feet as shown on the Birkenstock website ,entered the measurements and the website says my fees are too wide

I size down in Birkenstocks, usually from a 6 to a 5 but I have size 4 madrids

A 2 would be great, because they are half price from the childrens’ section!

I am a 36 usually - definitely 35 in birkies - love them!

I wear my normal size....now I feel weird after reading that everyone else seems to size down!
