Hush dress and no trainers?

I have ordered this dress, hopefully not too long on me but most probably will be as only 5ft 2 on a good day! Everything seems to be styled with trainers, what shoes would you wear with this?

Depends when your wearing it and how out there you are. Nude sandals or ballet pumps? Or maybe even some light brown/cream boots

That's a really lovely dress. What about flat criss-crossy tan leather sandals?

I have the long sleeve version of this dress and I wear ~trainers~ DM boots, DM sandals (think clumpy Birkenstocks) or if I’m feeling dainty Menorcan Sandals (from solillas)
P.s. I always wash my hush dresses like this one on a hand wash cycle

Love the Kensington! I have a couple of different versions. I wear it with one of:
Trainers
Ballet pumps
Flip flops
Ankle boots
Canvas pumps like Converse
depending on the weather. Totally agree with the PP about the delicates cycle for washing these.

@Ivy48 I have some ballet pumps, a nude/pink so that’s good. I am a boring dresser, trying to get out the comfort zone!
@CheerfulBunny I will look at tan sandals maybe like the Menorcan ones @Procrastatron mentioned. I rolled my ankle 5 years ago and one is still swollen and puffier so I try not to wear ankle straps as then I can really notice.
@BreakfastOfWaffles I have a few pairs of converse, but maybe not the purple glitter……
Pleased that it’s a good choice, let’s just hope it fits and not too long.

One pair is just like the Menorcan sandals suggested, leather Amazon own brand for £12!

Biker boots, high tops, suede ankle boots,
Shoe boots, espadrille, chunky wedge.

No heels and nothing too dainty or pretty or you could look frumpy.

Great choice i have far too many kensington dresses. And another hush delivery on the way!

The dress has arrived, it’s lovely, great fabric fits on the top but way to long on the skirt, the pointed corners were touching the floor. It’s going back. I could alter it but I would rather not at that price and then decide it’s not for me.
