Will you wear heels this year?

I clocked the new YSL Tribute mules which I really fancy buying, but set aside the fact that I don't need anymore shoes, I also haven't worn any heels beyond some moderate blocked heel boots for more than a year. I don't know if there will be many opportunities to wear them either, maybe meals out here and there?

Has most people given up on heels or are all looking forward to digging out the manolos? (Or you've been wearing them throughout last year in which case, kudos to you)

I wear mine round the house - I miss my heels!

I should probably try that! If nothing else it's good practice after not wearing them for ages.

I’ve been wearing my heels as a fuck you to cancer. In fact I’ve never looked so well groomed or felt so feminine.

It’s heels all the way here as well as well as make up and new bras that have me fancying myself.

Some women rock them but I loathe those platform ones that make wearer walk like they've shat themselves. They aren't for me anymore as they're impractical and a bit dated.

I can’t wait to get back to heels. The day I stick on a work dress and heels I’ll really feel things are getting back to normal.

Not for work this year or ever again after a year going in to my very quiet office in trainers. So liberating to be able to walk about properly!
Going out, I really hope so, but I expect I shall see what other people are doing as I'd feel daft (and like an old woman trying too hard!Blush) in my heels if everyone else is out in flats.

Anne1958 hugs

I have to confess I work in a really casual office so no one would bat an eyelid if I turn up in tracksuits. But I like dressing up so much that I normally overdress. I've also moved office which now involves a 15 minute walk, but should stop me if I want to do the whole changing shoes at office thing. Not when social distancing is still in place, there's no point!

I wore heels over Easter. I have no intention of ever stopping wearing them with the right outfits. I generally find them comfortable though so that makes a big difference. Love a pair of YSLs too. Grin
