Can anyone help me with the perfect nude lipstick?

I have never been able to find what I’m looking for. I want a ‘my lips but better’ lipstick that LASTS. I am pale, blue eyes and dark hair and most ‘nude’ look brown on me. Can anyone recommend any?

I also use Boots 17 lip pencil in Daydreamer daily which is a perfect nude for my colouring (pale, blonde, green eyes).

Well as you've found, nude is different for everyone. For me it needs to be pink/mauve toned. I like Clarins Soft Berry and Beaty Pie Dusky Rose. Pillow Talk is nice but too pale and peach for my skin tone - looks a bit 90s Pamela Anderson on me so not a nude. It is NOT the universal nude it's claimed to be.

You sound like you have the exact same colouring as me. I need a slightly pinker tone for nude look so my go to is MAC satin lipstick in Faux. Love it

timeforparty I have similar colouring to yourself and am constantly recommended Pillow Talk but it’s too brown for me. I normally just use lip salve now or occasionally Max Factor Lipfinoty in Iced which is just about the right colour.

Try Bobbi Brown lipstick in Sandwash Pink - I'm fair skinned (cool tone) with blue eyes and it looks nice and natural.

Most nude shades look brown/beige on me too, I need a pink-toned one. At the moment I'm using Laura Mercier sheer lipstick in Baby Lips - it looks dark in the tube but is very sheer when applied.

Natasha Denona does a good range called I need a Nude.
