Expensive purse

I'm looking for a new purse. I've bought a few 😳 Aspinal purses but they don't have enough card slots. I've got a couple of Radley purses which suit my needs better but I don't really like the finish or leather quality.

Does anyone know which purse I should buy? I've looked at the Mulberry Darley purse which I really like the look of, particularly because of the turnlock, but I want a medium one. What's the Mulberry medium continental French wallet/purse like? Or is there another make that would be better? Prada? Gucci?

I have the Mulberry medium continental purse and love it. Had it for nearly two years now - very well used and not a scratch on it. I got the deep amber colour as it’s easier to find at the bottom of my bag!

I have found mulberry wallets to wear quite quickly, must be how I use them. I have a Mulberry Continental Wallet in Oak
It’s the best purse I’ve ever had
I’ve had 3 years now and it’s still as good as new .
Plenty of space to keep lots of cards cash and change
Never lost anything from it either

If you want an expensive purse go to net a porter and sort by highest price.

@savvy7 I don't just want an expensive purse. I want a lovely purse for a significant birthday. I have a few lovely bags and I'd like a purse to go with them. I need one with a few card slots and a place for notes and change. A recommendation is always very helpful.

@IloveJudgeJudy oh is that the one the hibiscus interior 😍😍😍 I just looked on the website and saw it. I think it’s gorgeous! Don’t have it myself but I had the prada purse linked above, prada card holder which I’ve had for a decade and a prada wallet on a chain- the quality is lovely. Doesn’t flop, practical and wears well (much better than Chanel which at double the price flopped within a year- also very impractical inside!) are you based near any of their stores to have a browse? I think this looks great... I’m kinda tempted 😂

My Kate Spade purse is 4 years old and still looks new- I love it.

Have a look at Osprey. I love theirs!

Smythsons is another place worth a look.

DH bought me a Mulberry purse for my 40th birthday. It is now over 20 years old and still going strong - remarkably good value despite being expensive at the time

Thank you for all your suggestions. @usernotfound0000 that's a lovely purse. I just want a bit smaller one. I've got many bigger purses but they take up all the room in my handbags so I wanted a smaller one.

The reason I started this thread is that most smaller purses don't have anywhere near enough card slots.

I'm going to have to look at some in person. Atm I'm inclined towards the Mulberry continental medium or the Prada but I need to see them in the flesh.

I bought a Jimmy Choo purse and it's lasted absolutely donkeys years. It's in bright red so I can always find it in the bottom of my bag

The best purse that meets your needs isn't necessarily going to be the luxury designer brand or the most expensive.

I went for Kate Spade as it was the right size to fit in my smaller bags and had lots of card storage and a zip for the coin area and is saffiano leather so doesn't show scratches etc.

I'm returning to this thread as I finally made up my mind and got a Mulberry purse. It's a medium continental French purse with 11 card slots. I really love it and can find it in all my bags due to the wonderful bright colour.

I’ve got a great big Michael Kors one and I love it.

I had a similar wallet in white and really liked it but had to retire it because of colour transfer. Lesson learned. Enjoy your wallet
