Have you used any different make up or cleanser ? strangely my daughter has suddenly got a rash like this but just on one side of her face,
Are you on any new medication etc?
Sorry doesn't help much, don't know what else to suggest

Mistressinthetulips · 05/04/2021 23:36

Well I'm currently looking out for small red spots as it's been suggested as a sign of post Astra Zeneca clotting - you've not recently been vaccinated have you?

Lottiebugz22 · 05/04/2021 23:44

No not vaccinated. I'm pregnant. It's just cropped up over the past few days. I'm not well either at that the moment.

Have you been sick recently? I get these if I vomit, I think they are called petichae? They are tiny burst capillaries

princessTiasmum · 06/04/2021 10:30

My daughter has only got these since being vaccinated with Astrazenica, but strange it's only 1 side of her face

Mistressinthetulips · 06/04/2021 10:33

@princessTiasmum I would honestly get her to check that out ASAP (unless you're going to say she was vaccinated months ago, it it's within three weeks can't hurt to have it looked at and could be very important).
Congratulations on your pregnancy OP.
I didn't have that but am also wondering if could be connected with being sick.

princessTiasmum · 06/04/2021 10:39

I have read about people getting rashes after vaccinationbut i think it is just about 3 weeks now,
She has just started a new HRT so wondered if it could be that
Is it something to be worried about if connected with the vaccination? and why, although i will suggest she does check it out?

Janegrey333 · 06/04/2021 11:04

Probably an allergic reaction.

Mistressinthetulips · 06/04/2021 15:44

@princessTiasmum it's probably nothing especially if it's over three weeks but it is one of the things I've read to look out for (that and bruising) with regard to the concerns about blood clots following the Astra zeneca jab. I've just had mine which is why I'm looking into this! I will see if I can find the link another mumsnetter posted so you can see what I'm talking about

I got red spots all over my face from vomiting and retching (morning sickness, I’m pregnant too!), as someone said above mine were petichae. They weren’t raised but it looked like freckles, I went to the doctor because some red marks can be a sign of thrombocytopenia in pregnancy. Yours look raised from that photo so could be a reaction, but if in doubt ask your GP! Hope all okay x

Either rosacea or a pollen allergy which is awful at the momentn it can cause rashes like that. Is it itchy or bumpy?

ILoveWillSmith · 07/04/2021 16:54

I've had little red spots on my cheeks since we started wearing masks all day, do you wear one for any length of time?

princessTiasmum · 07/04/2021 17:50

I have wonder if it is due to mask wearing,as i got a cold sore for the first time ,pharmacist said possibly due to wearing a mask
