Soft jeans?

Kids, not adults Grin

My six year old has spent practically a year in tracksuit trousers, what with all the lockdowns. After a mega growth spurt he needs new clothes anyway and I’d like to encourage him gently back into a little variety. Last time I suggested he put jeans on he had a fit and said they were too scratchy. Any recommendation for nice soft jeans? I’ve seen a few “jogger” style in H&M and elsewhere but I’d prefer something with a regular “jeans” look, if possible,

Thanks in advance!

Aw I was hoping to get some hints for myself!

Next do these, I usually get some iteration of them for my primary school age boys. I know they're not identical to denim but they're comfy. Mine have never worn heavy denim jeans really as they are quite hard/ uncomfortable compared to joggers etc!

@MindGrapes oh these do look good - are they tracksuit material, without the cuffed ankle?

@PandaFluff I know, tbh I could do with some lovely soft jeans myself! Grin

Not the original question, but to answer the point about soft adult jeans I would recommend Bam jeans: bambooclothing.co.uk/shop/73-zero-skinny-bamboo-jean/

Neither of my kids (8&5) like jeans, they say they are too scratchy, and I don't bother trying to persuade them. They both wear joggers and leggings a lot, and my daughter likes wearing loose fitting dungarees and dresses.

No, more like thick cotton or twill kind of thing. (But softer than jeans! )
That's assuming they're the same as the ones I bought a year or so ago!

My DD (13) has never liked jeans. The closest she gets is jeggings. She's all about the comfort. If your son doesn't like jeans, why not stick with comfier stuff that he likes?
