Roman originals anyone?

Has anyone used roman originals? Just found the website and can't work out whether it will be OK or not?
I'm stuck in a clothing rut, I need new, I usually browse m&s, next, warehouse and oasis, but obviously can't do that right now and I need summer dresses and tops. I want stuff that will wear well and wash well, I need a good returns policy. Can anyone tell me if Roman Originals fits this?

I bought a hundreds there as few years ago, it wore well and was a reasonable price. I wish they'd sell them again

We have a shop in my town , it's a bit frumpy on the whole but some occasional nice bits . Quality is fine for the price I'd say.

I bought a coat from there this winter, just wanted a really warm puffer type coat for really cold days and walking the dog. Got one for thirty quid in the sale and it's ace, just like a big sleeping bag.

However, I do think quite a lot of their stuff is a bit frumpy.

Agree with pp. I have good work dress from there that makes me feel like I'm wearing something from Margaret Thatcher's wardrobe. It suits quite well for an 'important' day at work, though.

At the non-frumpy end of the spectrum I have two pairs of these, they are the best stretchy comfy black trousers I've ever owned.

Thanks, I'm going to give it a miss. So helpful to have people who know. I've just given Oliver Bonas a try and ordered a couple of work bits, wouldn't have ever looked there if not for this forum.
