Backne and just acne!

I’ve had acne on my back shoulders chest you name it all my life ... what’s a good body wash? I just have horrible skin. Thankfully my face is fine bar the occasional neck spot.

DH had this problem. In desperation he ordered some sea salt soap from ebay (just looked, it’s still there and says sea salt and goats milk). It’s advertised with before and after pictures and tbf it did work quite well but it was a really small bar and took forever to come from China. There are companies that sell sea salt soap in the U.K. but no clue if they work the same, maybe they would be worth a try? Maybe body wash is the problem?

DH ordered the soap from China a few times and whenever he stopped the spots came back. He just lives with the spots now because he didn’t want to spend so much on a bar of soap 🤷🏼‍♀️

what body wash do you use currently? I have the same problem.

Both Boots & Superdrug do a tea tree body spray that’s meant to reduce backne. I used to use the Clinique one but I don’t think they sell it anymore.

Go to the dr’s. Acne’s just a bacterial skin infection & you need to have antibiotics for it.

If you’ve had it this long it’s a pretty well established infection.

When I had this as an adult it was due to a hormone imbalance, worth checking out.

I was told to not use anything other that a body milk to wash with. It worked a couple of years ago and I haven't used anything else different since. - Palmolive body milk.

All acne’s hormonal though isn’t it? That’s why kids, who are let’s face it mucky little sods, don’t get acne.

Having low grade infections isn’t great for the immune system though.

I’d go for blue light therapy OP. I agree it’s hormonal, I grew out of it eventually. But nowadays I’d just get a home device, they’re cheap and effective.
