Whistles barrel leg jeans

I’m looking at buying a pair as I’ve had them recommended for my shape (small waist and ‘cyclist’s legs ) but looking at them I can’t tell how wide the legs are. In some photos they look fairly slim - but some reviews say they’re really wide and flappy. I definitely don’t want skinny jeans but I also don’t want something that’s too wide - I’m probably after a slightly relaxed/straight style rather than a genuine wide leg.

Has anyone got some and can advise? Thank you! 😊

Me! I have black, navy, and pale blue. They are great jeans. They are neither wide/flappy nor skinny. I’m 5ft 6 and a hippy size 10, and mine are all 27 waist. In all honesty I am up 5lb since Covid and WFH, so if I was buying them today I would get the 28.

I have black and navy. I’m a size 12 but my waist is quite thick so I’m wearing a 30. I like them very much, even given they are possibly slightly looser on the legs on me than they should be because of my waist. Very comfy, wash well, certainly don’t flap.

I have a few barrel 🦵leg style, but not whistles specifically. I have a waist with significant butt and thigh and I find them comfortable and flattering.

They are fab! Have the khaki and pale blue denim versions. Gutted I can’t wear them this summer as I’m pregnant.

I looked at them, but have decided to buy some mango ones first to see if I will get the wear out if them

I have them in indigo and black. The black were SH from Vinted (v cheap as zip broken, easy fix but I've noticed a few complaints about it, be warned). The blue were bloody massive and I had to take them in.

I really like them but they're oddly big in the stomach area, so don't size up I'd say.
