La Redoute

I have seen some basics in the la Redoute sale but dubious as I have never ordered from there before. Any good/bad experiences with them please and guide on sizing? I’m a size 12, thinking I should size up as French! Also tempted by the children’s stuff but again unsure on sizing.

They are quite good. Lovely patterns, interesting cuts, true sizing. Don't size up. (Caveat: try a couple of different sizes in the same top or dress to give you a feel. This is your first time after all)

Quality comparable to Warehouse or oasis. A bit better than Zara. I had an Anne Weyburn blouse from redoute I cherished for nearly 10 years!

I think the quality is quite hit and miss. I’ve had great things, and others that are awful. Definitely worth a try though!

La Redoute stock a range of different brands so it’s hard to generalise but overall I find the quality and sizing fine. I like the own brand ‘La Redoute Collection’, I’ve had a navy cashmere cardigan and a red stretchy T-shirt. I like the homeware stuff too, small bits like a clock, not sure I’d trust the furniture, which seems on a par with Maisons Du Monde.

The fabrics are very hit and miss but they have good descriptions for their clothes imo.

I wouldn’t size up, especially these days when everything seems slightly oversized to begin with. It’s annoying its £3.99 postage however much you spend so better to order everything you might want to try in one go. I have a credit account so you can order loads and send back what you don’t want. It’s free returns. I find delivery and returns are quick.

Finally I would never order anything full price as there always seems to be some kind of sale or 40% off everything.

I’m wearing La Redoute pyjamas right now and they’re great. Wash well and the 38/40 are a good fit for me, a typical size 12.

I bought skinny nearly 12yo DS some T-shirts this week. I sized up to 14yo so they would last him but they aren’t really baggy at all. I can’t see the long sleeve ones fitting him for long. He loves the style though and I think the quality is good. I ordered them last Friday and they were delivered on Tuesday.

I find sizing and quality ok. As pp said there’s always a sale, seems to follow the Gap model! And I found delivery took ages at times - like, months.
