Been kindly gifted £200 to spend here. I've never bought anything from them before. I usually shop SB and wear small there.

I wear leggings and hoodies most days and also run. I don't like clothes with buttons. Otherwise am open to suggestions of what to buy. Thank you

I don’t like their leggings - find them not “holdy-in” enough.
Their exercise tips are amazing.
I also have a bag that holds my yoga mat which is great.

Mymymycorona · 02/04/2021 01:16

Thank you. Any recommendations on their tops that aren't too clingy would be much appreciated @LunaTheCat.

Personal preference as I prefer their leggings to SB normally, admit to having multiple pairs of each. Their align leggings are particularly gorgeous to wear and they last forever.

They used to have a great shop in Bicester village which had amazing discounts, far better than the SB shop offered. Not sure if it’s still there but worth checking if you are relatively close.

Mymymycorona · 02/04/2021 01:33

Thank you. I'll have to shop online as there is no store near me. The "align" seem to be similar to the "super sculpt" from SB. The high rise shorts look very comfortable. Do you find the sizing standard with lululemon @MonkeysandParrots or is it smaller sizing?

@Mymymycorona just a word of warning check size measurements very carefully if buying online.I had a highly recommended product that was teeny tiny and the returns process was shite and took weeks. I am size 8. Not exactly difficult to find stuff that fits.

Mymymycorona · 02/04/2021 10:26

Thanks @Sooverthemill that is good to know. I know the US system of sizing is used so I was thinking a 6 (I'm a 10UK) but I don't know anyone IRL who has bought from there to see how it fitted.

I love the align leggings and wunder unders. Prefer to SB. Also the align joggers are fab. I get a US8, I'm a UK12.The scuba hoodies are great too (I size up one for those).

Procrastatron · 02/04/2021 11:18

@Mymymycorona I’m a uk 10, probably a 12 in some younger shops. I bought pre covid and on the advice of the advice of the sales person bought an 8 in the wonder trains. They are very comfy and smoothing rather than sculpting and most importantly stay up. I’m sure I could fit in a six but I’m happy with the 8. I got the 7/8 length which shows just enough ankle.

Motheroftwofeline · 02/04/2021 11:20

I love Lulu Lemon!

Got some leggings (sorry, I can’t remember the name) and also usually wear sweaty Betty but these are much nicer, softer fabric and wash really well too. They’re still pretty much like new despite the fact they’ve been my lockdown uniform.

Pirisprinkles · 02/04/2021 11:45

I have a few leggings from Lululemon and my favourites are the wunder under (in luxtreme fabric), wunder train and fast&free.
I am a size 6-8 and order a 2 for a snug fit.
4 fits too but I always have to pull the leggings up when I exercise.

MonkeysandParrots · 02/04/2021 11:52

@Mymymycorona I find sizing in leggings pretty generous - a us10 is perfect for me and I’m a Uk 14/16. However in tops I size up as I’m busty and prefer a looser fit - my running vests are a us14 and are v comfortable.

Btw I second the align joggers, love them!

CallItLoneliness · 02/04/2021 13:57

The love tank is a good looser fit tank, super light and comfy; they also do a t shirt in that line that is great. If you can get them the on the fly pants are great (I have the pants not the joggers), you can work out in them, but I also wear them to work.

MoltonSilver · 02/04/2021 15:26

I love the align joggers. Actually most of it is pretty good. I'm a UK 12 and wear a lululemon 8 which I find pretty consistent across styles.

ToEllewithIt · 02/04/2021 17:11

Sizing is very consistent I find.

What sports do you do, what height are you and do you prefer leggings to feel compressive or not?

Aligns are lovely, really soft but “naked” and “cotton” feeling, great for yoga or casual, but you can train in them too.

Fast and free are my favourite for running, not compressive but have pockets and a tie waist.

Wonder trains are less sleek fabric, slightly more compressive and good allrounders. Have drawstring waist.

All the right places are good for training. I don’t run in mine. They’re more compressive

Ready to rulu are the equivalent of sweaty betty Garry pants.

All tied up tank is a nice one. The scuba hoodie and half zip are really popular for a reason.

The speed tab socks are excellent. I have ones that are 8 years old, worn weekly and still going strong. They might seem pricy but you more than get your money’s worth.

The another mile vest is another safe and popular choice.

Mymymycorona · 03/04/2021 01:02

Thank you all.

The align joggers are going to be a no. I see they are cuffed. I cannot rock the cuffed look without looking like a long toddler. I'm definitely a leggings person. The align leggings however look ace!

Thanks @ToEllewithIt. That is a comprehensive review of LL gear. Exactly what I need.
I am 5ft7, I love all leggings. In SB I have Powers for running and anything I need a zip pocket for, and super sculpt for every day wear. Anything in between I have Nike leggings for everything in between.
My husband will tell you I have leggings for every occasion.. I am not sure you can have too many🤣

LL Align Legging - full length 28 for me but also the shorter ones 24 good too. Im only 5'4 but the full length are not too long

Im a UK 10 and LL 6 (US) is perfect. Reliable across the range

Last forever literally and for me, way better than SB. No faffing with washing/conditioner which is not encouraged by SB.
