Can you still test make-up at a Boots counter?

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can still test make-up at a Boots counter? With covid I’m wondering if they have changed the rules? I haven’t been to boots in about a year, and I want to buy some new foundation but don’t know what shade I am.
Does anyone know? Thanks in advance

No you can’t but you can take used make up back for a refund if it doesn’t suit.

No but some companies (MAC is one) will match you online, you just send a selfie. You can them ask Google what shades in other brands are similar to what you’ve been matched with.

If you look online, lots of companies offer colour matches based on your existing make up. If still in doubt then just get a cc cream and a bb cream in broadly the right shade for you - you can then layer up as needed.

Boots No7 do a foundation that matches to your skin tone - just select light, medium or dark. I bought some because I couldn't test shades

Boots no.7 lady scanned my face with a fancy camera thingy which told me the shade I needed. Very sophisticated and spot on!
