Microblading and Botox - what order?

I realise this sounds beyond daft. I sometimes have Botox (no judging please) and I have been thinking about having my eyebrows microbladed. They have got very sparse due to illness. So question is in what order do I do it? If I have my Botox first does that mean the microblading will be “too high”? Any thoughts would be really helpful. Thank you.

I have both treatments and go Botox first, then at least 2 week gap before my therapist will do eyebrows.

Wonderful, thank you!

i would go opposite as the eyebrows will lower slightly when botox wears off. unless you top up constantly to prevent wearing off.

I heard of a young woman locally having brows before Botox... a bad mistake apparently.

Rosaceagal · 01/04/2021 05:39

I'd go for brows first as you want them to be in the natural place on your forehead. I've had mine done and now I'll be going for Botox, this might lift them slightly which I don't see as a bad thing but at least I know my brows still look good and are in the right position even when the Botox wears off, if you see what I mean.

On the cosmetic doctors advice I had my Botox first, allowed it to settle down for 2 weeks then had the microblading. It does mean that as the Botox wears off my eyebrows become less arched but it's subtle so no one notices but me and it's a reminder that it's time for a Botox top up. Which it clearly is now!

I had brows first then Botox.

How did you select botox and MB professionals please?

Lndnmummy · 01/04/2021 08:39

Thanks everyone for your advice. I’ll speak to the doctor who is doing when I go and see what she says. I think I can just thread/tint/laminate the eyebrows for now and when the Botox has worn off I can try again with the eyebrows.

I was told by the people I use that Botox can make your brow bone sit a bit lower and heavier so best to get that done first then the microblading can give the appearance of lifting upwards again if needed. Basically Botox could slightly alter the appearance of your newly done brows if done after.

Hello
I have been using dermal fillers for 5 years now. I need my skin to look quite fresh and young, because my work depends on the fact that I come into contact with people. When I started to choose Botox, I realized that it is quite difficult to choose from everything presented on the market. I have read hundreds of blogs, articles and recommendations and have been using dkdermal products for 3 years now. However, I must say that before you order Botox or any other skin filler on the website, you must consult a doctor, and then make a choice.
