Make up haul over

zigzagzog12 · 30/03/2021 19:05

Hi I'm looking for some advice

My make up bag is looking a bit stale and I'm out of practice with it all

Ideally I would like to use the following

Tinted moisturiser
Powder
Mascara
Concealer
Blush
Tinted lip balm

But I haven't for a big budget and I'm keen to use vegan or ethical/cruelty free products

Any recommendations would be very grateful

'Essence' make-up is cruelty free and very affordable. They're on Amazon.co.uk as well. Nyx more expensive, but still not hugely pricey.

I'm kicking myself as I bought some stuff recently and didn't check beforehand.

This is a handy short list of 30 companies to avoid if you want cruelty free products. And recommended alternatives.

Same website, but a guide to companies that are cruelty free. It is American but many brands will be in the shops/online.

Peta do lists too. Ones that are cruelty free, as well as ones that test on animals.

Primark own brand cosmetics seems to be leaping bunny approved and therefore cruelty free. The leaping bunny might be on the packaging.

Yes, Primark's PS range is cruelty free. Nice article in the Indo.

Revolution - I like the Pro range the best - lsold in Superdrug and Glossier both good and cruelty free. Also look for BB cream from Sea Magik as an alternative to tinted moisturiser and the gold tube of Primark mascara and their matte lipsticks are great. I also have enjoyed Pip Box which is a cruelty free subscription and have liked Laritzy and Fig and Rose products.

Sea Magic BB cream is fantastic. Got it in the Holland and Barrett advent calendar and I’m a convert from Bourgois .
