I've put on weight this lockdown and my skin looks terrible (acne scarring)
I have an occasion in just over 2 weeks that I would really like to look a bit better for.
Upping the water intake but what else can I do??

Cutting out processed foods, lots of water and some exercise. Also good sleep makes a huge difference!
A bit of pampering will make you feel good, hair mask, face mask, shave and moisture your body, paint your nails etc

Water is a great start.

Make sure you are eating well too. Particularly a variety of veggies and fruits. Especially berries! Also I've heard salt can cause bloating so maybe reduce that?

How's your skincare? I've been mixing a little facial oil with my moisturiser morning and night for the past few weeks and my skin has never felt so good!

The oil I use is rosehip oil - supposedly good for acne scarring.

Thank you both, noting all these down.
My skincare is so so, I'm trying different things but haven't found the perfect routine that doesn't make my acne flare up again

Same here, I've got got a bit last minute panic before I start work in 2 weeks, I've put on 2 stone since lockdown started, so I'm going to only eat between 12 noon and 6pm, light meals and no more Easter eggs, I thought if I ate them early, I have more time to lose weight 😆
Cant do anything about the colour and cut of my hair (don't want to risk it) so I've been leaving on hair masks for at least an hour twice a week, at least the condition feels great.
Skin as above poster, facial oil and moisturiser is really good, perhaps a mask, clay or aha one would help?

Little bit of fake tan goes a log way to lifting your mood and skin tone!

No sugar
Lots of water
Lots of fresh green veg
Exercise

Face massage, it really does give a glow.

Drink more water than you thought possible.
Get out in the fresh air and get some sun (use sunscreen) and exercise whether it's walking, running, cycling whatever.
I always feel better after a long, hot bath. I do a face mask, shave my legs, pumice my feet, exfoliate etc. I know it sounds like obvious stuff but usually I shower and I'm always surprised how much better I feel after a bath.
