Please help me with my hair

I've always had very thick straight dark hair which was easy to look after. The last few years I've gone very grey and my hair has changed to wavy/curly and very frizzy (thanks peri menopause!) I just want smooth glossy hair again !! I tried the curly girl method briefly and hated it. It was such a faff and my hated not being able to run my fingers through my hair. Any products I try seem to make it feel dull, dry and even crispy at times.

What I would love is soft smooth glossy hair with the beachy waves. My hair is shoulder length at the minute. Please can any of you recommend hair products, shampoos ad conditioners and hair styling tools that can solve this. Thanks!

I like using the Garnier Ultimate Blends range for shampoo and conditioner, my favourite being the papaya one. I haven’t tried it but they also do hair masks in that range, could be good if your hair is dry.

Then to style - on still damp towel dried hair I use a little Philip Kingsley Elasti-Styler 5-in-1 Treatment, it seems to smooth down, tamper frizz, and give a little definition in waves/curls without weighing down or feel greasy.
