I'm a bit confused about what order I should be applying things!

I do:

morning:
splash face with water (x100 - face yoga method recommendation) before shower,
hydrating serum (green people)
collagen (DermaV10 wrinkle filler)
Vitamin C
Moisturiser
SPF

Evening:
Facewash (green people)
Nightcream (green people) with Bakuchiol drops added

Also use Nu-face with aloe vera gel when i can be bothered at some point in the evening, not every night.

Main question is whether Vitamin C is in the right place? OK to put stuff under or on top of it?

I read you apply the thinnest through to the thickest, so water based before oil or cream.
I put my vit C on first as its water based. I follow with face oil then moisturiser which works for me. Although some say cream should be before oil.

Hi op that looks fine to me. I’m intrigued about face splashing. How long have you been doing it for and would difference has it made to your skin? I used to do face splashing years ago - but it was to treat rosacea rather than anything to do with face yoga. I also do a form of face exercises and use nuface btw!

Vit C in the morning because it's whole point is as an anti-oxident to protect your skin from pollution and worldly nastiness so it's fine where you've got it!

Everything else looks fine. Apparently (I've learned this from numerous skincare threads on here) it doesn't really matter what order you put oils and creams on. I finish with an oil generally but if I'm using Nivea blue pot on a particularly dry week, I put the oil on first as it helps the Nivea stick after a serum.

I think it looks good however I would put the vit c on 1st.
Is the pm cleanser enough to cut through waterproof spf? I was getting spots so added in an oil cleanser as a 1st cleanse in the pm.

Meant to say lots of people advocate vit C for pm only.
Probably depends how strong it is though as it can make you sensitive.

Forgot to come back to this so thanks for the replies.

@ohee I've been doing the face splashing since around December and I really like it. It definitely wakes me up. I just have the tap running v slowly and quickly splash the water to my face, doesn't take much more than a minute. It's from Face Yoga Method (lady called Fumiko Takatsu). I feel it brightens my face and tightens pores. Meant to do with cold water. Can use from a bowl but I find I don't actually use that much from tap and feels better to use fresh for each splash.

Thanks op! I’m going to start face splashing again

Personally I think a product for cleaning, a product for moisturising and and SPF product is enough.
