Hi there, I had decided to treat myself to some nice bright loungewear and had a nice little basket waiting to be checked out. I googled lucylocketloves before checking out, and found some terrible reviews, mainly about the quality of the items.

Has anyone any experience recently?

I got some leggings from there last year just at the start of lockdown. The quality was awful and the overall experience - from delivery to trying to get a refund was not great.

I noticed there had been a flurry of good reviews lately. If you do a bit of digging you’ll find out why. The owner has developed something of a cult following, any perfectly polite, honest, but negative feedback on the products is not handled well.

I think they are fab never had any issues at all.

I like their lounge wear trousers, I have three pairs.
Been through the wash quite a lot and are still fine.

I had a running vest from there. Incredibly low quality. I paid a lot for it and it was the same material as the fruit of the loom t shirts, rubbed under the arms, didn't fit right and the print faded after one wash.

I bought some leggings from there but they went back

Too small and cheaply made for the price

I bought 2 pairs of Lucy Locket Loves running capris before Christmas. One pair is lovely but the other is a good few inches longer and much bigger generally (both from activewear range & meant to be same size). Too loose for running but I kept them as they'll do for cycling & wasn't sure I'd make the return date with Christmas/ lockdown. I expected far better & wont be buying from there again - can get 'Will do' much cheaper!

I really love the patterns, just really thought they would cheer me up.

Happy to take other suggestions. I loved the bright patterned slightly garish ones 😂 bubbles, rainbows, etc. Not the stereo typical mumsnet buyer. Don't like tight waists, real sensory issues. Size 16/18, a lot of health issues have caused weight problems recently so feeling very bloated (add lockdown to that)

No pastels or light colors.

I’ve bought 8 pairs of the casual leggings over lockdown. Ideal for working from home, the crazy patterns cheer me up. I’m a 16-18 & the fit is great, very comfy & don’t fall down. They are quite long, but I’m 5ft7 & they fit perfectly. Much better quality than cheaper ones I have got of eBay & returned. The only thing I don’t understand is how they can justify the active leggings being so much more expensive for a wider waistband

I have 3 of the casual leggings and no complaints. Worn them all through WFH over lockdown. I'm 5ft 10 and they're an ok length on me

Our online running group swears by them, not got any myself as I really rate M&S Good Move Leggings at £25 a pair with side pocket for your phone and come in many bright colour ways.

The older styles are better quality, most of mine have broken (seams have come apart, lots of holes, fabric is very thin) apart from my oldest pair which is a shame because the patterns are great.
There is a group on Facebook that you can look at reviews of other places that do similar leggings.

There has been a huge decline in quality over the last year.

Have you looked at Tikiboo?

I've seen how popular they are and have bought 2 pairs , one (new but eBay) are the lounge ones - thin but pretty.
The other pair are the "active " which I'm not sure of the difference between those and "casual" . They are really thin , very stretchy and I don't think compare to any sport leggings I have ? My next ones are far far more supportive? Thicker especially.
Pretty but won't buy again.

Just my opinion though !

Bought lounge, active top & bottom and casual over lockdown last year.
Will not buy again.
The casual were the worst quality.
The lounge didnt suit me at all.
With both lenght too long so odd especially made in china where they are petite in height.

Another similar brand i tried was Your Happy Place.
Casual and Active top and bottom and a hoody.
Far better active bottom with side pockets nicer block colours option than patterns.
But again wont be buying more.

Rainbows and Sprinkles are good for patterned leggings and have a great returns policy. Ive gotten one pair and ordered another 2

And lounge pants?

They do joggers and leggings but not lounge pants, sorry

I think kukubird do lounge

Kukubird do very similar lounge wear. Brand has gone tits of late and definitely not worth the moneg

Molke do some similar leggings and tops. Much better quality and customer service is excellent.
