Asda Jeans

Does anyone own any Asda jeans please? What do you think of them?

I have ordered a couple of pairs, as I need new jeans, but am on a budget. Wondering how their quality and sizing is, as I can take a few different sizes.

I bought a pair as i needed blue jeans during lockdown where everywhere else has been closed. I just bought the cheap ones at a tenner. They're ok. I got my normal size but they look shape very quickly and actually they're not a very nice blue. But, that's just one pair. They do seem to do a lot of different styles.

*lose shape

Juliesipadwillcallyouback · 27/03/2021 15:09

Yes, I have found that jeans/denim shorts I have bought from Asda have lost their shape.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 27/03/2021 15:15

Hmmmm not rave reviews then! I have gone with the straight leg ones. There are some good reviews on their site, but probably need to take that with a pinch of salt.

Thanks both. I'll see how I get on. Might end up sending back.

In desperation as all the shops are shut, I bought my DH two pairs of jeans from ASDA recently and they're excellent quality! Easily on a par with GAP and M&S ones he usually buys.

Obviously these were men's though and in general mens stuff seems better quality than womenswear these days Sad

IllNeverLetGoJack · 27/03/2021 17:03

Ugh so true parka! I made sure to choose jeans which were almost 100% cotton and one of the reviews said they were sturdy denim, (I've ordered the same pair in two different washes), so maybe I'll be lucky 🤞.

My pet peeve is that men's clothes seem to be natural fibres, while we get charged ££££ for polyester! Harrumph Wink

I have two pairs of skinny jeans from Asda, and I love them: very flattering fit, even on my pear-shaped figure.

I bought two pairs of their new shaping range jeans, most comfortable jeans I've ever bought, and look so much better on then jeans bought elsewhere. The ones I got were 19.99 a pair

I bought a pair of the black skinny jeans that are a tenner -brilliant fit and proper denim wirh a slight stretch so keep their shape really well.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 27/03/2021 18:18

Oh this is sounding a bit more hopeful!

I had some of the skinny jeans - curvy fit ones - liked them but they did shrink a bit in the wash, suggest sticking to a cooler wash.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 27/03/2021 18:46

Ok, thanks. I'll bear that in mind re possible shrinkage.

I love their wonder jeans. £20 a pair, keep their shape really well and they are about the only pairs I wear now!!

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 27/03/2021 19:42

I’ve got a pair of their boyfriend jeans and they’re fantastic. Really good quality thick denim without much stretch.

Difficultusername · 28/03/2021 04:31

If you don't get on with the Asda ones, Tesco have got some pretty decent ones in at the moment. I've had a few different ones from there recently, the slouchy, mom and straight and have all been decent denim.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 28/03/2021 08:57

Thanks. Can you order online from tesco again? Our nearest Tesco doesn't have clothes in it, so I can't get them in person annoyingly.

Difficultusername · 29/03/2021 10:37

Tesco don't have online ordering anymore which is annoying! I think you can get some of the f&f stuff on next though?

Difficultusername · 29/03/2021 10:38

They have a small range of them on next

IllNeverLetGoJack · 29/03/2021 12:06

Oh thank you! I didn't realise there was F&F stuff on the Next website.

I'll see how the Asda ones go. They aren't arriving till next week I don't think. But good to know about the Tesco ones at Next as well, for future. I used to have a huge Tesco near me and got quite a few things for work there, but then moved to another area.

I’ve got X2 pairs of indigo wonderfit last year, and I e worn them a lot. They wash and dry easily and have a good amount of stretch. I’ve had good wear out of them for £20 each.
Although skinnies are supposed out of fashion now?

IllNeverLetGoJack · 29/03/2021 13:31

Meh, where what you love is my rule. I'm not fashionable at all. I'm not getting skinnies though. Mine are straight cut, which I prefer.

I've bought skinny fit and wonder fit from Asda. Both have been good for the money.
I also like their jeggings.

Inaquandry19 · 29/03/2021 13:42

Wonder fit and skinny are ok, the jeggings aren't great. Tesco or Sainsburys are better.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 29/03/2021 17:04

Sainsbury's clothes are really good. I've had quite a few pairs of their jeans over the years. Well sized. Got some that must be about a decade old and they're still going (skinnies - who cares if they're out of fashion...?!)
