Anyone own a pretty waterproof parka?

I know we're coming into spring but I want to get something to put away for next autumn/winter or whenever. I also realise that a pretty parka is probably an oxymoron!

I just cannot do practical well. I have 3 beautiful wool coats - but I also have 3 little kids so spend a lot of time in the park, school run, difficult to carry an umbrella etc. I have a North Face Arctic Parka but it's cream so best only for the coldest days and shopping/light trails etc or else it gets filthy.

I've looked and looked at waterproof coats, they all just look so boring and a bit ugly and oversized. I'm not edgy and like pretty things, a size 10 and a spring (no black or dark colours, also don't want something very light as impractical). I did find a beautiful teal Sweaty Beaty one but it was only showerproof and from a previous season so not available any more. I want something waterproof, with a good fitted hood, preferably knee length or thereabouts and warm (doesn't have to be -10 suitable) but not too bulky. I know I'm asking for the earth.

Anyone have something they bought last year (or before) that they love that would fit the bill? I just want to buy something that I can look forward to getting out of the cupboard in October without doing the usual trudging of trying to find something suitable.
