I've had a really bad break out which I think is caused by using sons face mask. It may also be also my shampoo as I have spots around ears, jaw line and cheeks and hair line. My skin looks dull, pasty and I have lots of dry area's especially around my nose. My scalp also seems dry. Help me please I feel so awful about myself right now 😢

I posted here a couple of months ago saying that i seemed to have acne (age 42) which i didn’t even have when i was a teenager. It made my skin generally red as well as the actual spots and i felt rough. I genuinely think it is the effect of not going out (much) all winter.

Anyway, i subscribed to skin+me after seeing the recommendations here (£23.50 per month), sent them embarrassing photos of my skin and described what i wanted to achieve, and they sent me a prescription cream to use every night and recommendations for cleanser and moisturiser.

I am just starting my second month and it is AMAZING. I glow! I have a couple of small bumps left on my forehead but that’s all, and my skin looks brilliant. Much more than any serums etc ever did.

My prescription has 1% clindamycin antibiotic, and 4% Niacinamide antioxidant. This month that stays the same but adds 2% Azelaic acid, but i don’t know what effect that will have yet.

I honestly cannot praise them enough - my skin looks like a teenager’s in a good way!
