Is it possible for a normal person to pull off Jemima Khan’s hair? Do I need a certain kind of face? I like that “almost a fringe but can also be parted to look like layers” thing - does it have a name?

Its called a curtain fringe, very 2020 according to my DSd hair stylist

I love that look. Sadly it doesn't work for me. I think the important thing - more than face shape - is having very thick, straight, well behaved hair.

Lots of them use fake clip on fringes so I'd start there before chopping your locks

I tried a clip on fringe - great colour match and my hair dresser actually trimmed it to shape. So technically speaking it looked great. I wore it home. My husband and my children were relieved to find out it was a clip in. My husband had been trying to be nice about it but the truth was that it just didnt suit me at all. Try a clip in first is my advice.

Both those women have very low hairlines so the style looks good. I don’t think a normal hairline could pull it off!
