New baby friendly wardrobe for me!

Adopting newborn baby, 10 years between last DC!
After spending the last year WFH I’ve only worn a variety of sports leggings and baggy jumpers... I’m desperate to stay comfortable but also a bit fashionable as feel I’ve really let myself go since hiding away!

I feel the cold a lot! And need to be able to walk the school runs with baby, and hope to do a fair bit of walking. Am considering induced lactation too, as would like to BF as enjoyed it so much with my own DC’s.

Am 35, 5 foot 2, size 10/12 (bigger on bottom!) and definitely holding extra lbs on my hips, tops of thighs, and belly! Olive colouring. Have a decent budget to spend.

Please help me build a useable but nice wardrobe!

No useful advice but I just wanted to say huge congratulations!!

Massive congratulations! Definitely not high fashion but how about some high waisted stretchy jeans with a cami (feeding friendly if needed) with a chunky cardigan or shirt jacket? Have seen some nice ones in H&M and Zara sale. Or leggings with a longline knitted jumper with a long shirt jacket or coatigan?
Boring but practically a waterproof jacket with a hood to avoid wrangling an umbrella with a pram. If you might be going to baby classes you take your shoes off for maybe some slip on shoes (Vans, western style ankle boots, Birkenstock’s?) Maybe a crossbody bag so you can keep phone/keys/purse separate from changing bag?
Nice sunglasses (Le Specs have quirky not super expensive ones), fabric headband (Etsy) or tiny earrings you can leave in overnight to feel a bit more put together?
Congratulations again!

Thank you! Nice ideas!

I can’t be much help as I’ve given up as I’m constantly covered in yoghurt or similar but wanted to say congratulations!

MsSquishy · 27/03/2021 17:20

Or maybe some Hush hareems or the Next version with a tshirt and/or cropped jumper? Or jeans and a kimono style jacket? And lots of Vanish for all the yoghurt Smile
