What do you think of these?

I'm thinking of wearing them with blue mom and barrel leg jeans until it gets a bit warmer and also a nice flowy midi dress / skirt if I can find one I like that doesn't have lots of black.

Too witchy? Although that is kind of why I like them... To me they look like a cool brown, but I am a bit concerned that the colour is called khaki.

I love the colour and the gentle heel, but at the same time they look slightly dated to me.

I like All Saints style - lots of black, lovely textures especially the leather - but its gothic look really looks out of step with fashion now.

catinbootsx · 25/03/2021 15:09

Sorry OP I opened the link and my first thought was Jimmy Nail.

They're not terrible but there's nicer boots out there for 100 quid

huuuuunnnndderrricks · 25/03/2021 15:32

No from me .. too shiny and Clark's looking !

Justmuddlingalong · 25/03/2021 15:36

The review says they look and feel like plastic. So on that basis, no. Not for £100.

VenusClapTrap · 25/03/2021 15:37

I’m not keen. They do look rather plasticky, and I’m not a fan of cowboy boot style.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 25/03/2021 16:27

Tis a no from me.

Alsohuman · 25/03/2021 16:57

I actually like them.

IllNeverLetGoJack · 25/03/2021 17:10

I'm also not very keen, sorry.

But, obviously, if you love them, go for it! Just make sure you aren't seduced by the reduction. I always fall into that trap and end up buying things I wouldn't normally look twice at.

BatFacedGrrll · 25/03/2021 17:20

No I don't like them. But then I live in sports luxe / joggers/ sweatshirts/ jeans and trainers. I'd feel ridiculously 'trussed up' in those I think

But if you like them that's all that matters so get them!

havemybreakfastthen · 25/03/2021 19:42

I've got two pairs though not in that colour. I wear them with midi dresses and trousers and jeans with a turn up, I feel great when I wear them, get compliments and find them comfortable as not too high a heel for me.

JMAngel1 · 25/03/2021 19:55

I love AS but it's a no - too plastic looking and too much shine.

Loopyloututu2 · 25/03/2021 19:58

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Beachlovingirl · 25/03/2021 19:59

Do you already have lots to go with them? Personally looking at my wardrobe I know I would have to but things to go with them.

I have the boot that was the version before that one so there is also a strap around the ankle. And they’re in black. Had them for years and the leather is great quality. Thick and supple.

I wear mine when I need an outfit to be less soft/girly. So like a floaty midi dress or skirt, or a short flippy dress. I also wear a lot with my bleach blue topshop mom jeans rolled up worn with a t shirt.

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 25/03/2021 20:01

The suede pair are much nicer - and only 15 quid more at £114.

Beachlovingirl · 25/03/2021 20:01

Oh meant to say mine are just matt black leather so very understated.

dudsville · 25/03/2021 20:17

It's a fun looking shoe. Are they known as good shoemakers though? It's only a significant discount and a great price if they are good at making shoes.

lightofthetrees · 25/03/2021 21:28

No way! Maybe for world book day if you are going as the witch from Room on the broom

Dirtyplates · 25/03/2021 21:38

I don’t mind the style, I’m just not keen on the colour and texture. Would you go for that same boot but in black smooth leather?

Wobblybobblyboo · 25/03/2021 21:40

I have them in black. They don't look plastic at all - they are nice patent leather. They are quite narrow I think both for feet and ankles which is worth bearing in mind. I wear them with slightly flared cut off jeans or dresses and don't find them dated at all. I also tried on the suede ones as mentioned but I had suede black boots already and they are just not practical if it rains!

Gemma2019 · 25/03/2021 22:02

I hate them, sorry. Really want to like them as they are only £99 but don't like the shape, colour or texture.
