I want a new every day bag

I'm looking to spend around £40. So high street/budget brands.

I want something big enough to fit my phone, keys, purse and bits and bobs for the kids in. Not tiny, but not like a piece of luggage either 😂

I prefer cross body style bags for easy access and not always sliding down my arm. But am open to other ideas. I have got a few backpack style bags but I find them annoying having to take them off to get things out.

Also must have a zip fastening to keep everything safe inside.

Any ideas?

I've looked at all my usual go to stores and nothing is really standing out for me!

Fossil had 30% off outlet purchases last week they do this regular too might be worth holding off and getting something really nice next time they do this I got a backpack worth £209 for circa £33 quid last year from their store it gets hammered daily and doesn't look used yet.

Or Paul costello has extra 20% off sale purchases at the moment there's a bag I'm very tempted by on there.

Parfois sold me one of my favourites. Despite warnings about the lack of quality, it's still a favourite three years later. Cost about £20.

Kipling Gabbie (the larger one). I’ve got two a s they’re brilliant. They’re cross body and capacious. They retail for about £90 full price but you can almost always find them in last season’s colours on amazon around the £40 mark.

Oh and they’re great with kids as they’re machine washable

I have this £17 IKEA bag. It can be a backpack or a tote. It has pockets for purse and keys etc. Loads of room for kids bits and bobs. Zip across the top. For the price it’s great!

OP check out Mia Tui, they’re great value, ethical and come in a fab range of styles and colours.

Have a look at TK maxx. They often have some very good value bags.

Why not check out etsy. You can probably get something handmade for that price.

If you like prints then Cath Kidston do some great cross body bags for that budget.

I second Kilping bags - the Alvar holds loads but doesn't look or feel big and bulky, and as PP says good sales on prev. seasons colours on-line, so you should be able to get one for £40. They have different zipped campartments and can go into the washing machine.

I second Mia Tui, lots of bags in different sizes with pockets etc. They usually have a few offers on as well.
Never knew IKEA sold bags apart from the massive blue ones! Looks good, may have to invest, because I really don't need another bag 😬

Have a look at Kin at John Lewis...

Have you looked at Apatchy bags? They’re gorgeous & you can mix and match with the crossover straps. I think they start from around £70 so a bit over budget, but worth keeping an eye out for sales/discount codes as the quality’s good so should hopefully last you longer than a high-street bag.
