Soolantra for Rosacea

I’m 51 and have had bad skin throughout my adult life. Diagnosed with rosacea around 40.
Prescribed Lymecycline which I use for flare ups. I read on here about Soolantra so asked my GP to prescribe. Sod’s law, my skin is the best it’s been for ages right now!
Do I wait until I have a flare up to use it? It says to apply to the whole face - do I do this even if the flare up is only on nose and chin?
Thanks for your help

I started using it 6 months ago - I apply a little every night all over my face. I still find it weird to look in the mirror the next morning and not be bright red!!

I now use it as needed, not everyday, but i try and nip outbreaks in the bud and would use it preventatively ig id been exposed to a trigger like bright sun or red wine. I only put it on my cheeks and nose

I bought it online for about £35. I knew that a GP appointment would never coincide with a flair up. My rosacea was never too bad, central heating and showers were triggers. I bought it last winter and it did improve it. My skin has been fine all this winter.

I only use it on cheeks and nose.

I used continuously for about 4 months and have not really needed to use it again. This was 3/4 years ago and it's now only occasionally triggered by heat and some skincare products.

I didn't even know my skin problems were caused by rosacea until I randomly mentioned to a GP but being prescribed Soolantra was a complete game changer. I just thought I would always have crap looking skin!
