Has anyone tried the velvet facial sunscreen? I was thinking about biore watery essence but dd said it made her eyes sting so that has put me off.

I liked the feel of this, felt more like a smooth primer but it made my eyes sting so badly. I used up the remainder but wouldn’t repurchase for this reason.

I love frezyderm, have used for several years now and haven’t looked back.

Frezyderm feels very smooth as its full of silicone.
I use Biore usually but have tried Frezyderm and it stings just as bad if you get it in your eyes.
My search for a 50spf matte finish that doesn't sting your eyes continues ..

I have this, I relegated it to neck and chest. the second time I wore it I had to come home from work early and cleanse because I felt like it had slid into my eyes. They were stinging and aching, my eye balls ached.
I prefer Nivea water gel to the Boire one it doesn't smell as strongly of alcohol, sinks in better to my oily skin and comes in a better size pump bottle.

Hmm. Sounds like my quest continues!
I like Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro but I was hoping to spend less, though maybe I'll look for an offer when my current tube runs out.
Thanks for your input

I think quite a few people on the fantastic skincare threads use frezyderm but they are also really knowledgeable about other ones so might be worth asking there? I know that people I’ve told about it in real life like it and keep using it and it’s only occasionally made my eyes sting (and they water desperately in winter ordinarily so aren’t super tough!). The body suncream is also the only one my children don’t mind me putting on them as it isn’t sticky. If you can afford to try it might be worth it because the texture is lovely.

I love it. Been using it since it was first mentioned on the fantastic threads.
Primer and spf50 in one. Win win. I also like Biore watery which I use in summer
