Best quality eye shadow pallette?

PercyTheePig · 23/03/2021 09:30

I have some of the urban decay pallettes but even with primer I find them quite annoying for shedding/dropping bits whilst and after application.

Recently I tried an estee lauder pallette and the quality seemed much better than UD.

Recommendations please for great pigment, minimal shedding eye shadow?

Dior. The eyeshadow quartets are exquisite

Best shadow I’ve ever used is Surratt, but I only ever get singles now.

Natasha Denona.

Tarte

justilou1 · 24/03/2021 07:34

Nars. Never had a dud.

ElderMillennial · 24/03/2021 08:11

I like MAC, Nars, Tarte
I have an Estée Lauder quad I really like
Too faced
I also like urban decay

W3dontdoduvets · 24/03/2021 08:16

Tom Ford and Dior.

I’m not a huge fan of urban decay. Wonderful packaging and marketing but the colours just seem to end up in a muddy sludge.

ElderMillennial · 24/03/2021 08:17

I've got a couple of Charlotte Tilbury palettes but haven't used them yet.

Maybe I'll try them this morning... I do have a Zoom call Grin

justilou1 · 24/03/2021 10:12

Not crazy about Tarte anymore. They used to be great, but they’ve gone a-la colourpop

Mooey89 · 24/03/2021 10:17

I love my Charlotte tilbury, I have a pillow talk one

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 24/03/2021 10:19

Another vote for Natasha Denona!

Viseart. Stupidly expensive but definitely worth the money

QueenPaw · 24/03/2021 11:38

Viseart, Natasha denona, Anastasia Beverley hills

If you're using matte colours make sure to tap the brush off before applying, if it's shimmer/glitter then dampen the brush. I always do eyes first to avoid any fall out. Oh and eye primer too!

On this, in tandem anyone got any good eye primer recommendations? I had a Nars one that was good...
QueenPaw · 24/03/2021 11:43

I like the urban decay primer, original and works well for me! Used it for years

Cinderellashoes · 24/03/2021 11:44

Revolution are amazing

PandaFluff · 24/03/2021 11:46

Natasha Denona. Start with one of her mini ones to see if you like the formula, mini glam or mini nude are good for everyday wearable colours.

Which Viseart would you recommend to start with? Are the small quads the same formula do you know?
