Hi. I am attending a wedding in May and would really love to wear a dress. Trouble is I have no clue what would suit me (I live in jeans and a hoodies) I am 40, a size 20 and 5ft 1. Ideally it would need to go with minimal heals as I will be trying to control a 5 year old Grin thank you for any suggestions.

There’s some lovely dresses on here, some very reasonably priced, and most would look just as good with a low heel or flats.

Hi op. I went to a wedding 2 years ago, am a busty 20/22, and found one by monsoon on the Next website. They had quite a good selection of different brands, and most were under £70.

How about a nice midi dress, little crop jacket and some pointy flats? Comfy, cool and easy to run after kids! M&S have loads of nice dresses. Or if you eBay there’s lots of midi skirts on there, pair with nice blouse or t shirt, crop jacket and little fascinatior?

Thank you everyone. What do you think of this one with a little crop black jacket?

I love the dress but I'm not sure about a black jacket, navy would probably be better, or if you can match one of the tones in the dress.

That’s a lovely dress, great shape and colour! Also not sure about black jacket, white or navy might work better? Or a pop of pink or yellow if they suit you? Appreciate it’s harder to get than a black one tho...
Something like this perhaps? Not sure if it’s your thing?
