Magnetic lashes

Just had an ad for Lola's lashes come up in my Insta......

I have seriously crap eyelashes: pale blonde, almost invisible & seem to be falling out these days (peri menopausal).

I use eyelash curlers & mascara daily, which is probably is part of the problem. Thought about LVL - but with so many missing lashes I can't see it being a good choice just now.

I do use lash serum but not finding it hugely effective.

So what do you wise ladies think of magnetic lashes? (Fixed by clear eyeliner not black?)

PITA. I found them hard to apply.

As I'm not made of metal I don't see how they even work?

I think there's some kind of magnetic clear eyeliner they attach to, instead of glue.

Oh to have decent lashes.....

I tried them, They were in the bin within five minutes.

I like Eyelure 3/4 strip lashes. You attach them with glue. Much less fiddly and easier to apply than full length lashes.

Does the glue damage your existing lashes? And how long do they on for?

I love them. I could never get the bit at the very inner corner of my eye to stick to the liner so I just snipped off that section and use them on the outer 3/4 of my lashes.

@OutOfPlay - that's good to hear! Is it that brand you use? Are they really false-looking or more natural?

I couldn't get them to work for me. Big waste of money

Mine got sent back after the first go. Stick with glue ones, get on YouTube and watch some videos about how to apply. I did that and can now apply them fine.

I tried them and wasn't impressed. Might give them another try at some point as they are languishing in a drawer, but generally not keen.

Would you mind saying what it is about the lashes that doesn’t work for you? Thanks.

I didn't like the clumpy eyeliner. You have to put loads on. And the lashes didn't attach to it properly.
