Moisturiser

I'm sure been asked many times. But what recommendations for a moisturiser for early thirties? Skin can be quite dry. Have very fine lines at the corners of my eyes. But no really noticeable except to me when I inspect them in the mirror 😁 I got some really nice liz Earle products Christmas before last. But when I looked at reviews, people are saying the products are not as good as they were. Obviously don't want to spend millions!

I used to spend £££s on Clinique at 30 but I wish I'd tried Nivea Soft at £2.99 a tub then because I bet it would have been just as good. It's lovely soft absorbing stuff.

I really like clinique but it is expensive, might try Nivea as per pp comment

The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors with HA. Affordable but nourishing and non irritating. I have had much more expensive moisturisers but I save my pennies for serums/actives instead now.

I've tried loads of moisturizers but like pp have decided to put my money into serums. Two moisturizers I really like are TO Moisterising Factors and Cetreban cream.

My skin is on the drier side and both of these work well. Cetreban is the richer of the two but soaks in really quickly. Neither leave me with a greasy film.

Vichy do a nice one in a blue tube but I forgot what its called.

Chica1990 · 22/03/2021 19:12

I believe the one @PandaFluff is referring to is the Vichy aqualia thermal, which is very good and not too expensive

Cerave facial moisturising lotion. I use the PM version morning and night. It's a nice light texture while also helping my dry skin.

I do have the AM one with spf I just prefer the texture of the other one and wear a separate suncream.

Another vote for Nivea Soft-I try others from time to time but always come back to this.

PandaFluff · 22/03/2021 19:20

That's the one @Chica1990. Thanks. I need to get some more. They do a rich and a light version - I like the rich version at night.

Another vote for Cerave brand. Look at reviews on boots, superdrug etc. Dermatologists work on products, fragrance free, great ingredients. I've used the PM face lotion, currently using the moisturising lotion in large bottle for dry/very dry skin on face. Will try cream in jar next on face to compare. Good value too.

Shall have a look at these suggestions!

Super Facialist Glow thingy. Not sure what it is called but smells of roses and leaves a lovely not too shiny sheen.
