Oil cleansing

Has anyone tried it? What has been your experience?

I have tried a couple of oil cleansers for my dry skin but was disappointed that they were designed to emulsify with water so clearly contained some sort of detergent type ingredient and left my skin dryer than a cleanse and polish style cleanser normally does. One was loccitane and another one was a popular cheaper one on Amazon

I use coconut oil then remove it with a flannel I ran under warm water. Been doing this for over ten years and my skin is doing great.
