I’m dipping my toe..

Into the world of fake tan for the face.
I’m early 40s and my skin tone is deathly pale with a blue undertone in winter, and patchy pigmentation and freckles in summer although a general look of the undead persists.

I’ve gone posh with tan lux drops as I had a space nk voucher and plan to use the absolute minimum with either my moisturiser. In the morning or my facial oil in the evening. Does anyone have any view on either approach being better? Or any pitfalls I should be aware of? I’m mostly worried about steaks and abrupt lines where my moisturiser ends.

I'd use them with moisturiser. I put them on at night but that's because I have very un-absorbent skin and my face would be wet all day. I only use a few drops (Clarins) and rub it well into my hairline and round the edge. I've never had streaks or lines. And I'm blue white!

It'll be fine. Start with 2 drops into whatever you put on your face at night (you can increase next time if needed) Remember to wash your hands.

Thank you both! I feel a bit more confident now and reassured that no one has cautioned me not to do it.
