Mid Rise Jeans - do they exist anymore!?

PollyRoe16 · 20/03/2021 23:17

Can anyone suggest a good place to find mid rise jeans?

They all seemed to be high rise everywhere I look and I find them uncomfortable and not flattering on the c section 'shelf'

Currently have mid rise skinny jeans from
river island but open to other styles too! Help!

StarlightLady · 21/03/2021 04:24

Following, as l’m fed up with finding jeans that almost come up to my bra!!!

So uncomfortable to dit down in!

LaCerbiatta · 21/03/2021 05:56

Massimo Dutti always has some.

lookdeepintotheparka · 21/03/2021 08:47

I noticed they're all high rise - especially jeans in the shape I want i.e not skinny!

I find high rise really uncomfortable and unflattering on me even though they're supposed to suit a pear shape. M&S have some mid waist but even their styles are mostly high waisted this season!

Skyliner001 · 21/03/2021 09:05

Also low rise!

TooMinty · 21/03/2021 09:46

I have some from Hush and also Mint Velvet. Although I am actually the opposite to you and prefer high rise because it feels like they hold in my c-section overhang better!

filoflapjack · 21/03/2021 09:48

River Island "Molly" mid rise are good.

TheBitterBoy · 21/03/2021 09:49

Next and M&S both do mid rise

AnnaSW1 · 21/03/2021 09:59

Gap do

Boogiewoody · 21/03/2021 10:55

H&M do low rise.

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 21/03/2021 11:00

I just got some mid rise straight leg jeans from Mango. The style was called Mor or Mar I think. Really comfortable and nice stiffness to the denim.

Blondiney · 21/03/2021 11:19

High rise jeans make my arse look longer than the A1. Hateful things.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't sit down in them. I thought it was to do with my thick waist!
PollyRoe16 · 21/03/2021 13:52

Thank you for all the suggestions! I'm off to hopefully find some new jeans. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has this problem.
I used to wear high waisted jeans a few years ago but have no idea how now 😂

So glad you've asked. I hate high rise jeans, my tits touching my jeans when I sit down is a total confidence killer.

Watchingthetelly · 21/03/2021 14:26

M&S do such nice ones with a straight leg. I would never normally shop there but the jeans are so good.

lindyloo57 · 21/03/2021 15:20

I was going to say marks jeans I have the lily's they are a relax skinnie style

IndecentFeminist · 21/03/2021 15:22

I like the lack of muffin top I get from high waisted, but my tummy looks awful in them. Can't win!

FoxBaseBeta · 21/03/2021 15:41

Another vote for M&S, their mid rise are perfect for holding in my c section shelf. I've got Lily skinnyish leg and Sienna straight leg. Anything higher waist makes my 'shelf' look awful too Hmm

Straussful · 21/03/2021 15:52

I bought River Islands Molly's and they kept falling down. They are my painting/dirty work jeans these days.

G star does mid rise in all sorts of legs. Haven't bought them just they keep popping up on my sm feed

Suki2 · 21/03/2021 15:58

The White Company; Brompton fit are mid rise. The denim is really soft and comfortable as well.

user1477249785 · 21/03/2021 16:00

7 for all mankind. On sale on brand alley and super flattering.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 21/03/2021 16:16

Glad to have stumbled across this thread. Hate high rise jeans. I absolutely cannot tolerate jean buttons digging into my belly button.

PollyRoe16 · 21/03/2021 18:49

@MajorNeville cou*@MajorNeville* couldn't agree more! Doesn't help my tits have had the life sucked out of them too!
