What spring coat/jacket will you be wearing?

I need some inspiration. I only have winter coats and a couple of suit jackets for work and that is it. I need to get something lighter for spring but I have no idea what I want.

I find Spring so tricky! Hard to find one jacket or coat for all occasions (much easier to have one good winter coat, I find).

I’ve got a few of blazers (navy, black, camel) and a denim jacket for milder weather and a light coloured trench coat for chillier weather. Need some sort of hooded raincoat, though, for ‘pissing it down’ weather, which will probably be most days! .

Smaller bomber jacket puffer then in summer I want a rainbow themed bomber jacket.

Following with interest - I have an ancient, light swing coat that needs replacing. I would love something similar but with a hood for spring showers.

I use this for work as it goes with most of my work clothes.

I have a few jackets that I can only really wear for a few weeks in spring, in between too cold and too hot.

Trench coat
Leather jackets
Denim jacket
Cloak coat

@Outwithreason what is a car coat?! That’s a new one on me.

I have a Barbour jacket which is butt-length. It's warm when zipped up. I also still wear my long duvet-style coat on cold days. In fact, until I start to sweat, I wear that. On hot days, I have a camel coloured light coat of sorts from Primark.

I haven't a clue what a car coat is! I just liked how unfussy it is.

I've got a really light but waterproof hooded mac that tends to get a lot of wear at this time of year. I'd like something smarter for work though.

I remember my mother had the most gorgeous camel, wool, belted car coat. It was just so effortlessly stylish.

I like this one! I was thinking I'd probably be happy to pay up to £100 and this is right on budget.

Also darker colours suit me better.
