SPF for the face?

I've seen people mention they use SPF on their face every day - is this a moisturiser with spf or sun cream on its own? Can anyone recommend a good one to use?

I've just bought this and like it
www.simple.co.uk/products/face-moisturisers-and-creams/protect-n-glow-triple-protect-moisturiser-spf-30---.html

Disclaimer: I know little to nothing about skincare products or regimes, I just like this moisturiser!

I use a La Roche Posay face specific one which is very good.
The advice I had was that moisturisers/make up with SPF in was not sufficient and you should wear a separate one.

I've just started using Alpha H which is a moisturiser, SPF50 and primer in one.

It's an Australian brand I believe if that makes a difference!

I use a 50SPF by Bondi Sands. It definitely feels like a moisturiser as opposed to a sunscreen - which is nice.

I've recently started using Clinique super city block and really recommend it. It's tinted, so sometimes I just use that without any makeup on the days I'm not working.

I se factor 50 La Roche Posay but wondering if OK to use with Tretinoin.

Someone here recommended Frezyderm and I think it's great. Excellent sun blocking (even in Thailand a couple of years ago!) and has a lovely velvety touch to it. Good base for make up.

I'm also using Tretonin.

It needs to be a proper sunblock.
